It's Fall, Ya'll.

It definitely doesn't feel like fall in Texas (edit: we’re in the 70s- the weather has been amazing!), but mama had to get a jump start on decorating since we have lil' walker in the house! (Note: I typed this post in early September) B started walking at 10 months, so we've. been. busy. -Hence, why this post is just now going out.

I wanted to share a few affordable fall decorative pieces I've picked up recently - I'm not one to deck the house out in autumn leaves and scarecrows, but I do enjoy cozy fall vibes.

Less is more. I don't like removing my current decor just to put up fall decorations - I simply add a few touches here and there to bring the fall mood.

Such a versatile piece - sit it on a mantle or entry table, use as a centerpiece and add a cake stand in the middle with pumpkins stacked on top, or you could just hang on the front door!

My fall decor basically matches my everyday decor {and colors}. You can find the grass stems here:

Funny story, I actually bought this wood crate for a Christmas DIY project last year, but ended up just leaving it plain (and out after Christmas), switched out the Christmas pillow and pine grass for a leather/suede pillow and olive branches, and now, fall decor. Hopefully, I can get to my DIY project this year!...wishful thinking.

I'm pretty obsessed with gold, beige, leather, wood, greenery, white, gray, ivory, and black...which basically sums up my living room. {adding a black frame gallery wall soon to match the slender black candlesticks on the mantle} Black is my pop of color.

I also love a good coffee table tray where you can change out the contents depending on the season. I've added a couple pumpkins, a beaded tassel, and a harvest scented candle to bring that fallish feel. Similar beaded tassel here.

Moving on to my entry table...

I removed our HUGE glass vase with wine corks since Blake is running around everywhere, so I may eventually add something small in its' place. We bought the entry table for our previous home that I will probably replace in the future - needing something a little more mid-century. On the end of the table not pictured, there's a lamp, wooden candlestick, and two frames- pretty darn simple.

Bowl (can't find exact one) and pumpkin filler are from Kirkland's.

And, I added a few pumpkins in our lower level guest bathroom, because you can never have enough mini pumpkins! -from Calloway's

So, that's really it - nothing crazy.

When Blake gets a little older, I'll start decorating for Fall/Halloween together, because I loveeeee bats + skeletons + pumpkins and how fun is that for kids to help with!? Edit: I ordered giant spiders and some bats for who knows where inside/outside the house, hahah. SOS.

But for now, I'll stick to a few pumpkins, a wreath, and some candles so my husband doesn't absolutely lose his mind and there's less to pack up in the attic when it comes Christmas time.....

xx
